The arrest was made at the Weed Burger Shop on Bangla Rd at 11:30pm yesterday (Nov 9), Patong Police announced in a Facebook publication today (Nov 10).
The suspect was not named in the report, but Patong Police confirmed the man was taken to the Patong Police Station, where he was charged with jointly selling and possessing a Category 5 narcotic without permission.
Illegal drugs seized were limited to one bag of "buffalo manure mushrooms" weighting approximately 3 grams, Patong Police added.
The raid on the Weed Burger Shop followed police arresting two vendors with illegal mushrooms early Wednesday (Nov 8) morning and arresting one early Monday (Nov 6).
