Crime Busters With Zimmer Frames

OK, so I admit to being easily amused, as well as famously pedantic. I enjoy imagining how veteran crime fiction authors must struggle to keep older, best-selling central characters active and virile enough to continue battering baddies when they are of a seniority associated with retirement homes. That it happens a lot might illustrate how frequently authors fail to envisage their central characters still dodging lead and slinging punches forty years after their crime fiction debuts.

Birds are not decorative extras in the urban frame. They are part of the mechanism that keeps urban nature functioning, helping hold the balance between insects, seeds, pollination and the fragile web of biodiversity that still survives between roads, towers and heat-soaked concrete. In Thailand, where extreme urban heat is becoming a sharper public issue, that warning suddenly feels urgent, not theoretical.
Korea Beyond Seoul: Places That Redefine What “Popular” Should Mean

Is popularity in travel just a numbers game, or should it be about the soul of a place? Seoul undoubtedly dazzles with its neon lights and endless energy, but it barely scratches the surface of what Korea truly offers. Beyond the capital are places full of quiet beauty, deep traditions, and stories yet to be told.

If you don’t like horrific and brutal horror films then stop reading right now because Lee Cronin’s The Mummy is not the film for you. I’ve seen some pretty confronting horror films over the years, some so full-on they have never become general releases in cinema, but I have to admit that I have rarely seen a horror film that has had me looking away from the screen as often as this film did.

Here in Phuket there are some great places to experience the natural world, some well known and others not so. Yes, we all know the main tourists locations that we see advertised everywhere, such as Maya Bay, James Bond Island, Pileh Lagoon and the Similan Islands, and yes, these are well known and part of the must see, bucket list places when in Phuket.
