The two foreigners were named as Russian national Lovelyz Sin and Israeli national Ayuf Subodat, both 28 years old.
The men were arrested between 1am and 2:30am at the Patong Hill intersection on Phra Metta Rd.
Patong Police have also announced the arrest of an Egyptian man caught overstaying in the country.
The Egyptian man, named as Ibrahim Hany Ibrahim Mohammed Hassan, 26, was arrested in front of the Lily Holiday Hotel on Nanai Rd.
The report did not confirm how long Mr Hassan had overstayed his permit to stay in Thailand.
All three arrested were taken to Patong Police Station and charged accordingly, Patong Police confirmed.
Meanwhile, Phuket Tourist Police have issued two notices in English explaining the locations of all police stations on Phuket.
The first notice explains with a map which police stations serve which areas, so people know which police station to call for assistance. The map includes the phone number for each police station.
The second notice does the same, but for all Tourist Police stations on the island. (See gallery above for both notices.)
The Tourist Police national hotline is 1155.
Of note, the national police hotline in Thailand is 191. However, the 191 hotline does not have any foreign language services. People intending to cal the 191 hotline in an emergency are strongly urged to have a native Thai speaker make the call.
Non-Thai speakers are strongly urged to instead use the Tourist Police ‘I Lert U’ app (available on Google Play and the App Store), which has even resulted in foreign tourists lost in the jungle in Phuket being found and safely recovered.
