‘Imaginary’ needs more imagination

Normally when you think of films coming out of the now famous Blumhouse Studios you think of fresh innovative films that have won over even the most hardened horror fans. Even their reimaginings of ‘Halloween’ and ‘Fantasy Island’ have been delivered with a fair amount of creativity – but sadly the same can’t be said for their new film ‘Imaginary’ – a film that is perhaps best described as a movie that came from a screenwriter throwing a bunch of ideas into a blender then writing what came out.
