The competition was held at Fashion Island shopping mall in Bangkok.

“I’m very happy and honoured to win a gold medal for Thailand. I felt the pressure, knowing this was the first gold event of the Games, so I trained hard every single day.” Nano said after her win, quoted on the official SEA Games page.

“I dedicate this medal to all Thai people. My future goal is to win at the Asian Championships and the World Championships.”
