PHUKET: A young Russian, Alexander Pushkarer, 22, was arrested this evening after being found working in a souvenir shop in Patong.

Acting on a tip-off Immigration Police officers found Pushkarer working in the shop. Although he had a valid visa for Thailand, he had no work permit.
He was handed over to Kathu Police for prosecution for working illegally.
The owner of the shop was not arrested.
