The first Full Moon Party was held at Haad Rin Beach in Koh Phang-Ngan in 1983. At that time the
beach did not have electricity and was only accessible by sea.
So one can imagine that the party was all about the nature aspect – the beaches, coral reefs and sea. The area was beautiful, peculiarly wonderful, especially when darkness fell and the full moon shined brightly, illuminating the beach, complemented by the surrounding mountain scene. The full moon still shines supremely beautiful to this day, 32 years later.
Back by popular demand on Friday, January 22, Thailand’s world-famous Full Moon Party will be
held at XANA beach Club. The phenomenal night features remarkable DJ sets, thrilling entertainment, an astonishing fire performance and much more!
