Thalang Police were notified of the incident at 9:10am, shortly after the crash occurred in Moo 6, Pa Khlok.
Officers, led by Pol Lt Panya Chaiwichit, arrived at the scene to find the body of Thiparat Mingpicharn lying on the roadside. A black Honda motorcycle registered in Phuket was by the edge of the road, heavily damaged from the impact.
A black Toyota pickup truck, registered in Songkhla, was also at the scene with collision damage. The driver, identified as Adunan Maming, from Pattani, remained at the scene and identified himself to police.
A doctor from Thalang Hospital conducted a preliminary examination and confirmed that Ms Thiparat died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. The time of death was recorded as 9am.
Thalang Police Superintendent Pol Col Nikorn Chuthong confirmed that further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances leading to the collision.
