Thalang Police and rescue workers were called to the home, in Moo 8, Srisoonthorn, at about 9:25pm.
The woman, Netima Luansai, 42, had a painful bullet wound on her left upper arm. A bullet head was also found on the ground behind her.
Ms Netima told police was sitting and talking on the phone outside her home when she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her arm, which intensified until she realised she was bleeding.
Alarmed, she called her boyfriend for help, who found the bullet head nearby on the doormat, prompting the couple to call the police.
Officers analysed the bullet’s trajectory and collected the bullet head as evidence while Ms Netima was taken to Thalang Hospital for treatment
Police are continuing their investigation to trace the origin of the bullet.
