The man, identified by police only as ‘Mr Chindanai’ (surname withheld), was arrested at a building in Moo 2, Wichit, at about 10am on Tuesday (Oct 28).
Police reported that the suspect was found dismantling light fixtures and removing wiring, allegedly intending to sell the materials to a scrap shop.
Pol Lt Col Wutthiwat Liangbunchinda, Deputy Chief of Wichit Police detained the man at the scene before any items were taken.
Chindanai was charged with trespassing and interfering with another person’s property, police confirmed
According to Pol Lt Col Wutthiwat, the suspect was caught before any materials were taken from the scene.
