The 400mm pipe cracked near the Esso filling station on the bypass road, just south of the Samkong intersection, where major roadworks associated with the underpass are under way.
The PWA announced that areas affected are from Samkong all the way to Prachasamakee Rd, including Moo Baan Sri Suchart 3 and 5, Moo Baan Preuksa, Moo Baan Topland, Soi Panieng and Moo Baan Dusitburi.
Adjacent areas may have low water pressure or no water at all, the PWA said, adding that the water will remain off until reepairs are completed.
