PWA workers will need to shut off the water pressure to cut and cement and install a 315mmm HDPE pipe near the Bang Jo red light intersection, the PWA said in its announcement.
The water pressure will be affected from 9am until the work is completed.
The areas to be affected include the immediate surrounding area as well as parts of Kathu and Kamala. Some areas will experience only a reduction in water pressure, while others might experience no water supply at all, the PWA cautioned.
People were advised to hold 200 litres per person per day as water supply outages continue while works are carried out on mains pipes.
