Phuket City Police were called to the home, near Paknam Seafood on Ratsadanusorn Rd in Moo 3, Ratsada, at 11:26pm.
On arrival, police discovered the homeowner distraught and dealing with extensive water damage. The culprits had cut off and stolen the water meter, causing water to gush throughout the home.
Police promptly recorded the scene as evidence and have launched an investigation to apprehend those responsible. The incident has sparked concern among local villagers, who fear further thefts and the resulting property damage.
