For the past two months, the duo have been training UFC Welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre for his November 16 title defense against number one contender Johnny Hendricks. Staying in a hotel adjacent to the Tristar Gym in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Kru Yod and Kru Lamsongkram have been picking apart Hendrick's fighting style in order to give the champion an edge at UFC 167 this weekend.

"When it comes to the stand-up game nobody can touch them," sayd Firas Zahabi, St. Pierre's head trainer and owner of Tristar Gym, "They have such a calm, serene, zen-like approach to training."

This is the third time Kru Yod and Kru Lamsongkram have flown out from Phuket to Montreal to train St. Pierre. They were both brought in to train for his previus title defences against Carlos Condit and Nick Diaz.

“I try to earn enough money to go home and stay with my family. This is the boxing lifestyle,” Yod said in the video.

Kru Yod, originally from the northern province of Surin, is one of the most sought-after Muay Thai trainers in Thailand and is a veteran of nearly 300 fights.

Kru Lamsongkram, a Bangkok-native, is a former WBC World Middleweight Champion as well as the Rajadamnern Stadium Middleweight Champion with over 300 fights under his belt as well.

St. Pierre, who has not lost since April 2007, is considered one of the most well-rounded fighters in the history of mixed martial arts and the UFC. He admits in the video, however, that language sometimes can become a problem though they get around that since they speak a different tongue.

"Martial art is the same universal language," the French-Canadian said, smiling, "we speak it pretty well."
