Two workers were severely injured when they sprayed insecticide into a cable wheel and then lit it up with a Zippo lighter in order to get rid of a wasp’s nest inside the wheel.

There was an explosion which destroyed the wheel, flinging fragments in all directions.
The two workers, Polawat Suwong, 22, and Prapanpong Sinmalee, 29, suffered cuts and slashes on their legs and injuries to their genital areas. Both were taken to Thalang Hospital.
