The first of the two fires started at around 8:30pm last night in front of the Good Cars car dealership on Thepkrasattri Rd in Srisoonthorn.
Firefighters from Srisoonthorn Municipality and officials from PEA Thalang office arrived at the scene to find a fire from electrical wiring blazing on an electricity pylon. It took firefighters 20 minutes to extinguish the fire.
Electricity in the area had to be temporarily cut so PEA officials could work on the damaged cables.
The second fire, also on electrical cables on an electricity pylon, started at around 4:15am this morning on Soi Baan Bangla in Pa Khlok.
Firefighters were called to the scene and they managed to get the fire extinguished in 20 minutes.
Officials are now investigating to find the cause of both fires.
