In the first case, officers arrested 30-year-old Thanawat ‘Mos’ Chuchue at a house in Thepkrasattri. Police seized 127 ya bah pills and charged him with possession of a Category 1 narcotic without permission.
The second arrest involved 37-year-old Awut ‘Romri’ Thin Ko Yao, who was apprehended at a residence in Pa Khlok.
Police seized 800 ya bah pills, 6.35g of crystal meth and a green Infinix mobile phone valued at about B6,000.
Awut was charged with possession of Category 1 narcotics, including ya bah pills and crystal meth, with intent to sell without permission. Police classified the offence as being committed for commercial purposes and contributing to the spread of drugs among the public.
The two arrests were led by Thalang Police investigation chief Pol Lt Col. Suchart Luecha and supported by investigation and patrol officers.
Both cases have been recorded in the Royal Thai Police’s POLICE4.0 system and the suspects were handed over for further legal proceedings.
