Precious Shipping Plc (PSL), the owner of the bulk carrier, said its senior executives received the crew members at the airport in Samut Prakan province and provided them with welfare support including physical and mental health examinations.
The company said three other crewmen were still missing in the wake of the attack. The search for them continued, reports the Bangkok Post.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the 20 crew members arrived from Muscat International Airport in Oman. The ministry expressed gratitude towards Oman and the United Arab Emirates for facilitating their repatriation.
Yesterday Foreign Affairs Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow phoned his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi and asked him to support the rescue of the three Thai crew members.
The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the three missing crew were trapped on the ship.
Mr Sihasak also asked Iran to allow Thai commercial shipping to pass safely through the Strait of Hormuz.
