The arrest took place at approximately 10:30pm on Wednesday (Mar 5), reported Patong Police.
A team led by Pol Lt Col Suchart Chumphusang, along with other investigators, apprehended the 33-year-old suspect in front of the Weed Kebab shop, said the report.
Officers seized several items as evidence, including a product list displaying prices, a roll of cannabis buds mixed with tobacco, and a roll of finely ground cannabis, with a total weight of approximately 21.4 grammes.
The suspect has been charged with working without a permit and violating a Ministry of Labour regulation that prohibits foreigners from rolling cigarettes by hand.
The cigarettes the Turkish man was caught with were cannabis flower buds mixed with tobacco.
The man was taken to Patong Police Station for further legal proceedings, concluded the brief report.
