According to an announcement issued by Traffic Police, which was later ratified by Phuket Provincial Police Commander Col Teeraphol Thipjaroen, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will arrive on the island today to preside over the opening ceremony for a new building at Vachira Phuket Hospital.

The road clearance notification asks residents parked anywhere along the following roads to remove their vehicles as soon as possible, prior to the visit.

No parking or stopping will be permitted on Monday (Nov 9) from 11am-4pm along the following roads:

1. Thepkrassattri Rd both lanes, from Baan Koh Kaew to Thepkassattri-Komanraphat junction.

2. Komaraphat Rd both lanes

3. Yaowarat Rd both lanes from Phuket Technical College to Soi Roong-rawee

“If it is necessary to park in the area, please park in Vachira Hospital and Phuket Provincial Police Station. Please do not park on these roads, otherwise Traffic Police will be forced to remove your vehicle,” Col Teerapol said.
