Police seized a quantity of suspected stolen property, including an intact air compressor, four sacks of dismantled air compressor metal weighing a combined 67.5 kilograms, one-and-a-half air-conditioner condenser coils weighing 5.8kg, a sack of dismantled air-conditioner fin coils weighing 7.8kg, a sack of stripped copper wire weighing 13.2kg, and a backpack containing tools allegedly used in the thefts.

The three suspects have each been charged with jointly committing theft at night and were taken to Patong Police Station for further legal proceedings.

The arrests followed a complaint lodged with Patong Police on June 21 after the owner of the building discovered that several items had been stolen or damaged.

According to police, the missing property included a 12,000 BTU Eminent air-conditioning unit, a Panasonic water heater, electrical wiring and sections of air-conditioning ducting that had been removed from the premises.

Investigators subsequently identified and arrested the three suspects at the abandoned building, where the recovered property and tools were seized as evidence.
