PHUKET: A family got the surprise of the decade when a three-metre-long python showed up at the front door of their home while watching the Brazil-Colombia football match at 3am this morning (July 5).

Family members say they thought they heard someone walking near the front of the house.
Raumjai Foundation authorities were called in to retrieve the animal and took it to the Chaofah Garden Home in Chalong this afternoon. The snake is expected to be released back into the wild.
