Under the direction of Thalang Police Chief Pol Col Nikorn Chuathong, officers conducted the operation on Friday (Mar 21). The arrest was led by Pol. Lt. Col. Suchart Luecha, along with a team of investigators from Thalang Police Station.
The suspect, identified as Prasan ‘Him’ Nopparat’, was taken into custody near an unregistered house in Soi Ban Kamnan Ao 2, Moo 2, Srisoonthorn, Thalang Police reported.
Officers seized 1,868 methamphetamine pills (ya bah) and 62.4 grammes of crystal meth (ya ice) as evidence.
Prasan was taken to Thalang Police Station, where he was charged with illegal possession of a Category 1 narcotic with intent to sell, an offense that authorities say poses a threat to public safety and national security.
