Thalang PEA announce electricity shut-off for Oct 19

PHUKET: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) Thalang Office announced today that the electricity supply will be temporarily shut off in parts of Thalang next Friday (Oct 19) as works are carried out on installing new high-voltage power cables.

Areas to be affected by the power outage, from 9am to 4:30pm, are from Phuket Air Catering Co Ltd (Sanambin Rd) to Moo 6 Tambon Mai Khao and Moo 1 Tambon Sakoo.

Businesses to be affected include: the Phuket Air Traffic Control Centre, Airport Mansion and Restaurant, Family Mart, JJ Airport Condo, Phuket International Airport (only 33k system), PTT petrol Station of Phuket Airport, Soi Naiyang 13, Soi Naiyang 13/1, Southwest Meteorological Department, Phuket Customs House of A. D. C. Government Lodging, Immigration Bureau Police Government Lodging, Phuket Post-Entry Quarantine House, Phuket Airport Hotel, The Luna Hostel, Soi Naiyang 16, Soi Naiyang 16/1, The Sixteenth Naiyang Beach Hotel ,Maya Phuket Hotel, Himaphan Boutique Resort, Perennial Resort and Wildlife Checkpoint Port of Phuket.

In its announcement, the Thalang PEA apologised for any inconvenience caused while the work is carried out.
