Hosts China will play Denmark while India will meet Japan in the first two quarter-finals on Thursday. Taiwan will take on defending champions South Korea on Friday, reports the Bangkok Post.
Thailand, led by Ratchanok Intanon, defeated Taiwan 5-0 to finish as Group B winners on Wednesday.
Ratchanok defeated Hsu Wen-chi 21-18, 21-18 in the first singles match, doubles players Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongjai beat Hsu Ya-ching and Yang Ching-tun 21-10, 21-12 and Supanida Katethong beat Sung Shuo-yun 21-9, 21-13 to give Thailand a 3-0 lead.
Doubles pair Nuntakarn Aimsaard and Phataimas Muenwong beat Hu Ling-fang and Teng Chun-hsun 21-14, 21-19 and singles player Pornpawee Chochuwong beat Pai Yu-po 21-11, 20-22, 21-14 to complete the rout.
Thailand, who reached the semi-finals in 2020 and 2022, could meet Taiwan again in the semi-finals if both teams come through their quarter-finals.
In other Uber Cup action on Wednesday, Japan edged Indonesia 3-2 as the two teams qualified as Group C winners and runners-up, respectively.
Hosts China and India had qualified from Group A while holders South Korea and Denmark had qualified from Group D on Tuesday.
