Following a scoreless first-half, Thailand were on fire in the seocond half with goals from Tanaboon Ketsarat (54th minute), Chananan Pombupha (64th) and Pinyo Inpinit (78th).
The Thais enjoyed a brilliant campaign winning all their seven matches in Singapore. They scored a total of 24 goals and conceded only one.
It was Thailand’s 15th football title at the biennial event.
Thailand dominated for long periods in the first half but could not beat in-form Myanmar goalkeeper Phyo Kyaw Zin.
Myanmar also had a couple of chances on the counter-attack.
However, Thailand went ahead after 54 minutes when a Nurul Sriyankem pass found Tanaboon who made it 1-0.
Chananan gave Thailand a 2-0 lead in the 64th minute and Pinyo put the contest beyond any doubt with 12 minutes to go.
