The teenager, who cannot be named because she is under 18, broke her left arm in the suicide attempt but escaped any further injury.
Police said the girl had a fight with her boyfriend, and then went up to the fourth floor of the complex, which is under-construction, and jumped out the window of the apartment.
She was taken to Vachira Hospital.
