In an interview with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) media, Agnese expressed her emotions, stating, “I’m so confused, and so proud. I was a little bit nervous at the start, but I said to myself, ’I can do it.’”

Agnese began her journey with the Ski and Snowboard Association of Thailand, where they actively sought athletes interested in participating in the Winter Youth Olympic Games, reports the Bangkok Post.

Her determination to compete led her to the support of programs like the New Horizons Programme and the PyeongChang Legacy Foundation.

Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, a member of the IOC and the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand, extended her congratulations to Agnese.

Khunying highlighted the historical significance of Agnese’s medal for the Thai national team and emphasised that Agnese will serve as a role model for Thai teenagers, encouraging them to take an interest in the Winter Youth Olympics.
