Berlang Ndebi-Nlome scored the game-winner in the 82nd minute of the match with a long range shot from the far right side of the penalty box. The shot was the culmination of several attempts on goal for Berlang throughout the match, including a rebound header that soared over Thai Honda's keeper' in the first ten minutes of the match.
Goals by Patipat Armartantri (68th minute) and a first half penalt by Andres Luis “Zinho” Rodrigues Lopes (40th minute) rounded out the goals by Phuket FC.
The team was down 2-1 in the second half after two goals by Gaston Raul Gonzales helped put Thai Honda ahead. Gonzalez struck first in the 20th minute by taking advantage of a sloppy defensive clearance. His second goal came in the waning moments of the first half with a well-placed header from a corner kick.
