In another move, the new FAT administration postponed the kick-off of the top flight of the national football by a week to March 5 and also renamed it as the Premier League of Thailand (PLT).
The first full meeting of the FAT execuvite committee since the election on Feb 11 was held at a Bangkok hotel yesterday with Pol Gen Soyot presiding over.
Somyot's election as the new FAT chief was ratified by the Sports Authority of thailand (SAT) on Wednesday.
After Friday's meeting, Pol Gen Somyot told reporters that Pol Gen Chakthip will be taking over as the PLT Chairman.
Pol Gen Somyot said the new executive board had sacked all those at FAT committees appointed by the previous administration.
"They have all been removed but the employees of the assocation will continue to perform their duties as usuel," he said.
The FAT president, however, left the door opened for those appointed by the past administration, saying: "They can inform us if they wish to continue working for Thai football and we will consider proper positions for them."
The meeting, besides postponing the kick-off of the PLT season, also decided to put off the start of the Regional League (Division two, third tier) to March 26.
Division Two has now been restructured into eight regions - two more than the past - with each zone having 15 teams.
Pol gen Somyot said: "The committee also decided to cancel all suspensions handed out to teams by the past administratio.
This means teams like Phatthalung Fc, who were suspended for one year for staging a walk-out, and Satun United, banned for three years for harming the match referees, can come back.
Moreover, teams who have been denied places in the top league, like Police United and Saraburi FC who have financial problems, can also lodge appeals to the committee to re-enter the competition."
The FAT president added that there are a number of private firms which are interested in supporting the Thai national team.
"In this regard, we have set up the National Football Team Fund for te World Cup at Siam commerical Bank's Chohchai 4 branch with account number 127-240-870-2. There are now more than five million baht in this bank account," Pol Gen Somyot said.
"All Thai football fans are welcome to support the national team by contributing to this fund."
On the subject of court cases that have been filed by different clubs, he said: "We will be sending a directive to all such clubs to withdraw their lawsuits as per FIFA instructions.
"If any team doesn't comply, I will use my authority as the president of the association to ban the club immediately."
