The woman, not named in the brief report by immigration officers, was taken into custody at the international arrivals hall at about 11am on Monday (Dec 9).
The woman was taken to Sakhu Police Station to face charges of “using or possessing for use a forged passport”, immigration officers confirmed.
The woman’s arrest came on the same day that immigration officers at the airport arrested two Afghan nationals for attempting to leave the country on forged Kazakhstan passports.
Airport Immigration later identified the two men as Afghan nationals Abdul Bashir Kawoskgar, 24, and Mustafa Ahadi, 20.
The men were attempting to board Bangkok Airways flight PG276 to connect to a connecting flight and fly to Milan, Italy, airport immigration reported.
