Suvichaya, 17, won the two-day Honda LPGA Thailand 2024 National Qualifiers at Siam Country Club Rolling Hills in Pattaya yesterday (Jan 11) to secure qualification for the leading event which takes place between Feb 22-25.
The Khon Kaen native took the lead in the first round and secured the championship with a total score of nine-under-par on the second day.
Alisa Inprasit secured second place with a total score of eight-under-par, reports the Bangkok Post.
“I am overjoyed and incredibly proud to see my dreams come true,” said Suvichaya. “The competitive journey has been remarkable, and I extend my thanks to the Honda LPGA Thailand for consistently offering a platform for Thai golfers to participate in the top-notch competition.

The Honda LPGA Thailand 2024 National Qualifiers is a part of the ‘Road to Honda LPGA Thailand’ initiative, which is aimed at promoting the development of golf among youth and emerging players.
