“Surfing Thailand would like to invite surfers and everyone – especially people mourning those lost to the tsunami in 2004 – to come and commemorate 11 years after the tsunami,” said Decha Sithidej.
Surfers will gather next to the Phuket Graceland Resort & Spa on the Thaweewong Rd (the beach road) at about 8am, he added.
“Please bring your own surfboard and flowers,” Mr Decha said.
