The victim was identified as Mr Jorge Estrela Veiera Machado, 51, a South African national.
Rescue workers who arrived to the scene near Kata Garden Hotel just before 10am.
Judging from the accident scene, it is believed that no 3rd party was directly involved. No crash helmet was found at the scene
