Officers from Phuket City Police Station carried out the operation at about 7am. The raids were led by Pol Maj Kant Aksornthong, head of investigations, after search warrants were issued by the Phuket Provincial Court.
Police searched two locations: an unnumbered rented house in the sea gypsy village on Koh Siray, and a rented house in the Saphan Ruam community on the east side of Phuket Town.
At the first house in Ratsada, officers arrested a 23-year-old man and seized 77 methamphetamine pills (ya bah) as evidence.
Police said the suspect faces charges of possession of a Category 1 narcotic (methamphetamine) with intent to sell and illegal consumption of a Category 1 narcotic.
At the second house in Saphan Ruam, officers arrested five people. Among them was a 39-year-old woman wanted under an arrest warrant issued by the Phuket Provincial Court on Dec 19, 2025.
She is accused of conspiracy to commit serious drug offences, including the illegal sale of Category 1 narcotics for commercial purposes and distribution to the public.
Four other suspects arrested at the property were charged with illegally consuming Category 1 narcotics, police said.
All six suspects, along with the seized drugs and other evidence, were handed over to investigators at Phuket City Police Station for further legal proceedings.
