Russian, Nigerians arrested for selling cocaine

PHUKET: Police have reported the arrest of one Russian man and two Nigerians for selling cocaine.

The Russian man was named as Denis Fedin, 39.

Fedin was arrested at a building on Chao Fa East Rd in Wichit, police reported.

Fedin was taken to Wichit Police Station and charged with “selling narcotic drugs (cocaine) without permission”, police confirmed in their report.

However, no further details of Fedin’s arrest were provided.

Meanwhile, Tourist Police have reported two Nigerian men arrested for selling cocaine in the Kata area.

Tourist Police named the two arrested as Harrison Chinnonso Onyema, 40, and Ogadinma Promise Onyema, 41.

The men were arrested in the parking area of a major hotel on Kata Rd at about 5pm on Thursday (Apr 11), police reported.

Both men were taken to Karon Police Station to be charged, police confirmed.

However, Harrison Chinnonso Onyema was also charged for overstaying in the country, police noted.
