The fire broke out at 8:15pm at a warehouse located about 100 metres past Moo Bandit restaurant on Thung Suea Khuan Rd in Srisoonthorn.

Local residents reported seeing large plumes of smoke rising into the sky as flames rapidly spread through the building, fuelled by highly flammable rubber materials stored inside. The incident caused panic among nearby residents amid fears the blaze could spread to neighbouring properties.

Firefighters from Srisoonthorn Municipality responded with three fire engines and water tankers. Additional support was requested from nearby areas, bringing the total number of fire trucks and water tankers at the scene to seven.

Srisoonthorn Mayor Chalermphon Kerdsap attended the scene and oversaw the emergency response.

Fire crews spent about 20 minutes spraying water to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further. Authorities confirmed that the fire was successfully controlled and did not extend to nearby buildings.

No injuries or fatalities were reported.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
