Infinitus China’s recent mega incentive programme in Bangkok and Pattaya covered almost three weeks. The Mice (Meeetings, Incentives, Cnventions and Exhibitions) event ended on Tuesday (May 26) with 12,700 staff and sales representatives enjoying a six-night holiday package.
The mega incentive comprised three nights in Bangkok and three nights in Pattaya.
According to a Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) news briefing, the participants travelled in groups of 2,000 to 3,000 and stayed at four- to five-star hotels, altogether totting up about 38,000 room nights.
The incentive holiday involved 110 scheduled flights from China, 400 tour bus trips and 36 cruise tours on the Chao Phraya River.
“Thailand is a very popular destination for Chinese as well as a top-of-mind venue for China’s incentive programmes in recent years, thanks to our geographical proximity, easy accessibility, high standards of service as well as a wide variety of tourism products and the memorable ‘Thainess’ experience,” said TAT acting governor Juthaporn Rerngronasa.
