The power outage, from 9am to 5pm, is to allow workers to safely carry out repairs and maintenance to high-voltage cables in the area.
The areas to be affected by the power outage were listed as: Baan Dan Yid, Soi Mittai, Mrs. Yaowalak van der Pfeiffer’s residence, Phuket Boatyard Company, Mrs. Duangrudee Thitadilok Shipyard, CP Pig Farm, Phuket Premier Boatyard Company, Ms Jesara Chalermwan’s house, Phuket Campground, Ms Jesada Chalermwan, room for rent, Mr. Kia Sae Hong, Soi Mor Iam, Burapha Shrimp Farm, Captain Hook Smoke House Co Ltd, Dan Mo Co Ltd, Khun Anucha Shrimp Farm and Charter Company Limited.
The PEA urged residents and businesses in these regions to make necessary arrangements to minimise any inconvenience during the specified outage period. People are advised to unplug sensitive electronic equipment and take precautions to safeguard appliances.
The PEA Thalang branch apologised for inconvenience caused by the power outage.
