The power outage, from 9am to 5pm, is to allow workers to safely carry out repairs and maintenance to high-voltage cables from the intersection at the entrance to Pasak Soi 8 (Soi Mittraphap) to the Grand View Residence housing estate in Moo 4, Cherng Talay.
The areas to be affected by the power outage were listed as: Pasak Soi 8 (Soi Mittraphap), Phuket Grandville Village, Phuket Greenland Property Co Ltd, Apartment B. Livana Place Co Ltd, Phuket Exclusive Development Co Ltd, East Island Co Ltd housing development, Christian Church (Niti and Friends Limited Partnership), Place and Space Co Ltd, Surat Thani Catholic Foundation, Puritara Pool Villa, Rex Projects Co Ltd, Nai Sanan Bungalow, Soi Pasak 8/7, Pearl Co., Jenjad Pattana Co Ltd (Zenithy Villas), Natjace Co Ltd, Villa Pearl Island Property Co Ltd, AE Phuket Co Ltd, Villa Alisa Estate Co Ltd, Sunrise Garden Phuket Co Ltd, Sujika Residence, Soi Pasak 8/8, Pasak 4/1, Guido International Co Ltd, Skyline-Phuket Co Ltd, Rex Projects Co Ltd, Phak Exclusive Development Co Ltd and Grand View Residences housing estate.
The PEA urged residents and businesses in these regions to make necessary arrangements to minimise any inconvenience during the specified outage period. People are advised to unplug sensitive electronic equipment and take precautions to safeguard appliances.
The PEA Thalang branch apologised for inconvenience caused by the power outage.
