PHUKET: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) Thalang office has announced that the electricity supply will be temporarily shut off in parts of Cherng Talay on Friday (May 3) as work is carried out on high voltage cables.

The areas to be affected by the power outage, from 9am to 4:30pm, are Moo 2 and Moo 3 Cherng Talay, including Arinara Bangtao Resort, Bangtao Bali Villa, Bangtao Village Resort and Amora Beach Resort.
In its announcement, the Thalang PEA apologised for any inconvenience caused while the work is done.
