Wichit Police confirmed they received the report at 5:48pm, shortly after the incident occurred at the hotel, located on Soi Bang Yai, behind the Big C shopping centre on the bypass road.

The alarm was raised by a hotel employee, who told police that the guest, identified as Lukasz Wladyslaw Stepien, had fallen from the upper floor and suffered severe injuries.

Patrol officers, investigators and rescue workers were dispatched to the scene. The victim was given first aid before being transported to Bangkok Hospital Siriroj.

Wichit Police investigators inspected the fourth-floor area, documented the scene and questioned available witnesses. Officers said they are continuing their investigation to establish the circumstances leading to the fall and to determine whether any foul play was involved.

The case is being overseen by Wichit Police Superintendent Pol Col Somsak Thongkliang, with Pol Lt Watcharakon Suwan, Deputy Inspector for Investigations, assigned as the lead investigator, Wichit Police noted in their report.
