Pol Lt Col Noppadol Thonmanee of the Thalang Police was informed of the incident at about 10:15pm.
Police and emergency workers arrived at the scene, in front of the Baan Khian Market, to find that the driver of the car, Ms Tiddee (family name withheld), was not injured in the collision.
The cow that was struck, however, had run off into a nearby field.
Ms Tiddee’s car had suffered a broken windscreen, a broken headlight and other damage to the front.
No one has claimed to be the owner of the cows that crossed the road unherded.
Police confirmed they are still trying to identify and locate the owner in order to hold the person responsible for damages.
