PHUKET: Police are investigating the cause of a fire that broke out at the offices of the Cherng Talay Tambon Administrative Organisation (OrBorTor) early this morning (May 12).

Cherng Talay Police were alerted to the fire shortly before 1am.
Firefighters soon arrived and managed to bring the blaze under control.
A preliminary inspection revealed the fire started in a storage room containing a bed and an umbrella previously confiscated from a local beach operator.
Officers have recorded the incident and are now working to determine what caused the fire. No injuries were reported.
