Police were alerted to the shooting at 11.30pm last night by Mr Kumpee 'Don' Paataan, husband of the white Isuzu pick-up truck's registered owner Mrs Suniya Paataan.
According to Don, at about 11pm he had parked the truck at the entrànce to Soi Rim Khlong in Mai Khao's Kor En locale, as the soi is too narrow to bring the truck in to access his home 30 meters in.
Moments after arriving home, he reported hearing what he thought was the sound of two firecrackers exploding.
But when he went out to check he found the truck's left rear window shattered with bullet holes, the windshield, right door handle and seat also damaged.
Police collected two spent bullets found inside, and are looking to question the sole suspect.
