The mother, 40, reported to Wichit Police that the incident occurred about 4:30pm on Sunday (Sept 29).
Her daughter, ‘Miss Kai’, was deceived by two acquaintances, identified as ‘Ms Fa’ and ‘Ms Tan’, who picked her up from their residence in Soi Phasuk, in Tambon Talat Nuea. Phuket Town, the mother said.
The ‘friends’ claimed they wanted to resolve a conflict, but instead took Miss Kai to a location in Soi Thanit, Wichit.
Upon arriving, Miss Kai was met by a group of about seven people who, along with Ms Fa, began assaulting her, causing injuries.
During the attack, Miss Kai noticed that the group was recording a video of the incident.
After the assault, one of the assailants, identified as ‘Ms Kaem’, dropped Miss Kai off about 200 metres from Miss Kai’s home.
The mother, upon learning about the attack, took her daughter to Wichit Police Station to report the incident.
Police are now investigating the incident with the intent of pressing charges, police confirmed.
