Police were called to the scene, by the banks of the Bang Yai Canal near the public swimming pool at Saphan Hin, at about 11:30pm.
At the scene, officers spoke with a witness who reported that an unidentified teenage male fired four shots into the air with a firearm of unknown type and calibre.
The individual then fled the scene, driving a white Toyota Fortuner with no visible license plate. The vehicle was last seen heading towards the Saphan Hin Shell roundabout.
Police searched the area but found no trace of the suspect or bullet casings. Investigators have since launched a review of CCTV footage in the vicinity in an effort to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
