The arrests were carried out by officers acting under Lt Col Phichit Thongto, Chief of the Crime Suppression Division at Phuket Provincial Police, said a report of the arrests.
Mongkol ‘Kai’ Singharat, 40, a resident of Moo 10, Chalong, was arrested near the entrance to the Third Area Command official residence on Rattanakosin 200 Pi Rd in Moo 1, Wichit. He was found with 72 methamphetamine pills (ya bah) and 19.94 grammes of crystal meth (ya ice).
Seized in making the arrest were two digital scales drug-taking paraphernalia and a mobile phone along with a Yamaha Fino motorbike valued at about B40,000, a gold necklace valued at about B120,000 two gold rings (one valued at about B80,000, the other at about B40,000) and B17,320 in cash
The total value of the items seized was about B257,320, police reported.
Mongkol was taken to Wichit Police Station and charged with selling and distributing a Category 1 narcotic without permission, using a Category 1 narcotic illegally
Thanyathorn ‘Diao Kongkaew, 40, a resident of Moo 9, Wichit, was reported as arrested at the Phuket Provincial Police Narcotics Suppression Unit Laboratory.
Listed as seized was a white iPhone X, allegedly used for illegal online gambling.
Thanyathorn was taken to Phuket City Police Station and charged with using a Category 1 narcotic illegally and illegal online gambling.
Pankorn ‘Jean’ Thinmala, 23, from Kuraburi District in Phang Nga, was arrested at a house in Moo 3, Ratsada, with officers finding him in illegal possession of 15,283 ya bah pills.
In making the arrest officers seized three digital scales and a Samsung Galaxy A12 mobile phone used in drug-related offenses.
Also seized was a Yamaha Filano motorbike registered in Yala valued at about B80,000 and a Honda Wave 110i motorbike registered in Nakhon Ratchasima valued at about B50,000.
Pankorn was taken to Phuket City Police Station and charged with distributing a Category 1 narcotic without permission and illegal use of a Category 1 narcotic.
