The police, along with Kusoldharm Foundation rescue volunteers, arrived at the scene shortly after 10pm and discovered a purple Yamaha Mio motorbike stuck to the pickup.
The deceased was identified as Wasin Yotharak.
Upon questioning the locals, police heard that the driver of the pickup truck had made a sudden U-Turn in front of Mr Wasin who was travelling at high speed.
A search is now underway for the driver who fled the scene.
