Not wasting any time in claiming her prize, Duangjai Inrod, a resident of the Talad Neua Subdistrict, presented herself and her winning lottery e-tickets at Phuket City Police Station at Phuket at 5:52pm on Wednesday.
The draw was announced at 4pm that day.
On hand to confirm that Ms Duangjai had indeed bought four tickets of the correct number ‒ 743951 ‒ was Pol Lt Patcharada Poolpipat, Deputy Inspector of Investigation.
Ms Duangjai had purchased the tickets through the Paotang app, Lt Patcharada confirmed.
As Ms Duangjai had four tickets all with the first prize valued at B6mn each, the total prize money won was B24mn, Lt Patcharada noted.
“So we have entered this into the daily record as evidence,” Lt Patcharada said.
